Church of Christ of Colorado Springs
Welcome
The church of Christ of Colorado Springs is a congregation dedicated to following the simple gospel of Jesus Christ. We profess no denominational affiliation, instead urging all to return to the Bible as the ultimate authority and guide for spiritual life. We have no man-made creed but the Bible as our rule book. We identify ourselves as Christians only, refusing the titles of men. And we practice New Testament Christianity as now being under the law of Christ.
We invite you to come with us on this spiritual journey as we seek to follow after our loving Savior who came to seek and save the lost. He promised to build His church where the invitation is “whosoever will” to be released from the consequences and guilt of sin and to live the abundant life promised. At the church of Christ of Colorado Springs, we are striving to be that church. Please feel free to investigate our claims on this site as we welcome any feedback you may have.
GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION
· Hear – Romans 10: 17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
· Believe – John 3: 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
· Repent – Acts 17: 30 “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent”
· Confess – Romans 10: 9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
· Baptized – Acts 2: 38 “Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
· Faithful – Revelation 2: 10 “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
